World Aids Day

As the pandemic of COVID-19 still continues to affect communities around the globe, there is still work to be done in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Great medical advances have taken place close to 40 years after the first case was discovered: medication has become accessible, patients are living longer and a cure could be on the horizon. But there is still a way to go to end the stigma of this infection and raising awareness.

LevantX asked comedian extraordinaire Lary Bou Safi to interview Dr. Ismael Maatouk, a respected sexual health practitioner in Beirut so that we could get some of our readers' questions' answered! Don't forget to check out Dr. Ismael's latest piece on STDs here. If you have questions, head to his website. You can find Lary all over social media as @Lary_bs.
